Le dichiarazioni di Cristine Lagarde, ministro delle finance francese che su Bloomberg dopo il G8 a ha detto che l'accordo è "of the same magnitude" dell'accordo del Plaza Hotel a NY nel 1985 "French Finance Minister Christine Lagarde compared the G- 7's statement with the Plaza Accord of 1985, in which the finance ministers of the U.S., U.K., France, Japan and West Germany agreed to a coordinated devaluation of the dollar against the yen and deutsche mark.
   ``It's a strong statement, which I am not sure the market has yet fully understood and appreciated,'' Lagarde said in an interview with Bloomberg Television yesterday.
   The latest statement didn't explicitly mention the dollar or suggest plans for intervention, in which central banks arrange purchases or sales of foreign exchange."
